Your Pace

My 40th year was the most memorable of my life so far. Life, my life as I knew it changed dramatically. Externally, my life could be characterized by change - I left the Bahamas, my country of birth when I was 18 to train as a missionary. I have lots of experience with cultural diversity from living in various countries. I was constantly stepping out of my comfort zone and achieving things I didn’t dream of. When problems arose I began looking for solutions. I grew so much! The discomforting reality is that many of the dreams I fulfilled were not my own. In December 2020 I knew the only next step was to change my life as I knew it and seek out my dreams without feeling guilty about it.
This blog is one of those dreams. Throwing out my thoughts into the metaverse is both spontaneous and familiar. I was 14 when Geocities launched across the World Wide Web and I immediately created a website. I had my first blog back in 1994 and I did it just because. All these years later, I’m reconnecting…with myself. My relationships mean something new because I’m showing up so differently…so…me.
If any of this speaks to you, hang around and check in once and a while to see what’s new. You’ll be discovering it along with me.
